Born on June 8, 1932 in Avery County, she was the daughter of the late Gilroy and Hallie Benfield Ingram. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her brothers; Max, Ben, and Bill Ingram and her sisters; Mary Lee Stout and Jean Waddell. She was a retired beautician and had worked at Brad Ragan, Inc. in Spruce Pine.
Martha was a charter member of the Bethel Missionary Baptist Church and served as the church secretary for many years. She loved the Lord and her church family. She was dearly loved by everyone that knew her and an inspiration to all. Martha enjoyed caring for her family and friends.
The family respectfully requests the honor of your presence at the funeral service honoring the life of Mrs. Martha Fisher at 7:00 pm on Tuesday, June 17, 2014 at the Bethel Missionary Baptist Church with the Rev's. Darrin Waldroup and Luther Carver officiating. Interment will follow in the Bethel Missionary Baptist Church Cemetery.
