Martha Ingram Fisher, age 82, of Hightop Lane in Newland, the Three Mile community, died Sunday, June 15, 2014 at the Brian Center Health & Rehab in Spruce Pine.
Born on June 8, 1932 in Avery County, she was the daughter of the late Gilroy and Hallie Benfield Ingram. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her brothers; Max, Ben, and Bill Ingram and her sisters; Mary Lee Stout and Jean Waddell. She was a retired beautician and had worked at Brad Ragan, Inc. in Spruce Pine.
Martha was a charter member of the Bethel Missionary Baptist Church and served as the church secretary for many years. She loved the Lord and her church family. She was dearly loved by everyone that knew her and an inspiration to all. Martha enjoyed caring for her family and friends.
