Jesse Richard (Bill) was born at Meridian Miss the son of Jesse Washington and Lilly Devall Coker..On May 9 1935 he married Gladys Lewis..A member of the United Transportation Union Mr Coker was employed with the Missouri Pacific Railroad as a conductor for 33 years until his retirement in 1975..Survivors include one son Richard L and one daughter Mrs Barbara Oglesby,one half brother Sherman,one sister Mrs Elsie King and two half sisters Mrs Etiole Harvey and Mrs Kitty Parker..
