Born in Newport, RI, he was the son of the late Israel Hyman Lack and Sylvia Goldman Lack. He graduated from Everett High class of '60 and UMass Amherst class of '64.
He is survived by his wife, Janet Goldman Lack of 47 years, his daughter, Deborah Lack Daniels and her husband Ryder Daniels of Londonderry, NH, his son, David J. Lack of Sydney, Australia and his wife Ani T. Lack.
Sandy is also survived by his grandchildren, Hayden Daniels, Lane Daniels, and Joseph Lack.
Sandy provided very well for his family in his career in the giftware industry for over 50 years. He began his career with Raimond Silver with his mentor Leonard Florence and worked his way to VP of Towle Silversmith. He ultimately started his own company Concepts 4 where he worked until his retirement. Sandy was an avid skier and enjoyed spending time with his family. He was a member of Temple Emanuel, Marblehead for many years.
Interment at Temple Emanu-El Cemetery, Danvers.
