Mrs. Inez Jane Gaskill, 74, of Zanesville, widow of John Gaskill died Friday at Wells Community Hospital. Born August 6, 1895 in Liberty Center, she was a daughter of Oscar and Jennie May Heckman Ramseyer. Her marriage to Mr. Gaskill took place in Blackford County November 26, 1914.
A lifetime resident of Wells County, she was a member of the Markle Nazarene Church.
Surviving are six daughters, Mrs. Goldie Clark, Mrs. Opal Fuller, both of Anderson; Mrs. Mary Holloway of Route 1, Keystone, Mrs. Erma Collins of Petroleum, Mrs. Dorosteen of Portland and Mrs. Ruth Schinkle of Muncie; seven son, Charles of Zanesville, Elmer of Bluffton, Harry and Floyd, both of Montpelier, Route 1, Everett of Union City, John Henry of Pennville, and Joe of Portland. Three stepchildren, Harold of Markle, James of Evansville and Mrs. Irene Ramseyer of Montpelier, Mrs. Olive Banter of Marion and Mrs. Ellen Earhart of Route 2, Warren; five brothers, Elmer Ramseyer of Route 2 Montpelier, Alfred Ramseyer of Petroleum, Harry Ramseyer of Nottingham, Ralph Ramseyer of Eaton and Gerald Ramseyer of Poneto, Route 1; 39 grandchildren and nine great grandchildren also survive.
Services will be held Monday at the Walker Funeral Home in Montpelier with Rev. Paul Henry officiating; burial in Miller Cemetery in Chester Township.
