Daphene worked for 25 years as a presser for Johnny Manufacturing Company in Albion, and also 12 years at MT Carmel Apparel in Mt Carmel Ill. She was a seamstress. She also did pressing and alterations at Strouses Department Store at Evansville Ind.
She was a faithful member of Christ Chapel. Daphene was preceded in death by her three sisters and two brothers.
She is survived by four sisters Rosy Elva Neal of Ohio, Beulah Thompson of Albion ill. Velma Brown of Allendale Ill. and Darlene Short of Bone Gap Ill. and a number of nieces and nephews. services will be at 10 a. m. Wednesday Aug ! 2012 at Christ Chapel 2701 graham avenue officiated by Rev. J T. Price and Rev.
