Born in Dallas, Texas, he is a graduate of DISD Transportion Institute 1979; Mountain View College/Braniff Education Systems; became a certified Airframe Technician in 1980 and Mercedes Master Tech. Bruce was Western Auto National ASE Master Tech of the year, 1987. He was a Member of NHRA for 25 years. His love of racing and engine continued throughout his life. Survived by wife ,Sandi; mother, Mary Fant; father and stepmother, Milton and Billie Fant; brother and sister-in-law, Bryan and Michelle Fant; nieces Tiffany and Holley; step- brothers, Craig and Stephen; step-daughter, Marcie; grandson, Tyler and grandmother Ida.
