Mr. Anderson owned and operated the Anderson Camper Sales in Big Rock for 11 years. He was a Navy veteran of World War II and the Korean Conflict. He was a member of the Elburn Lions Club, the Big Rock American Legion and Loyal Order of Moose 400 of Aurora.
Surviving are his widow, June M.; a son, Stanley R. Anderson, Jr., of Aurora; a daughter, Mrs. Howard (Jacque) Davis of Big Rock; four grandchildren and his mother, Mrs. Edith Anderson of Plano.
Funeral services were held at 10:30 a.m. Friday, April 15th at the Healy Chapel in Aurora with the Rev. Earl King officiating.
Burial was in South Big Rock Cemetery. HR 5/5/1977
