Helen Marie Dalenberg, of Orange City, Florida died April 15, 2011. She was born in Miami, Florida on November 23, 1926.

Helen spent most of her early years living in Miami. She earned her Bachelors and Masters Degrees in education from Florida State University.

Mrs. Dalenberg worked as a dedicated teacher with the Dade County Schools for 35 years, earning the Teacher of the Year award from the State of Florida.

Helen and the late George Dalenberg were married in 1988 and moved to Greenville, South Carolina in 1991, where they were active members of Christ Church Episcopal. She continued to live in Greenville until July 2010, when she moved back to Florida to be closer to her family.

Surviving are a niece and three nephews.

Friends are invited to attend the inurnment service at 11:00 AM, Saturday, July 9, 2011 at Christ Church Episcopal, 10 North Church Street, Greenville SC (864-271-8773).
