Charlie was a WWII hero. He was at Normandy, France, Luxembourg and Germany. He fought in the Battle of the Bulge. During the war he was injured 3 times and received a Purple Heart with 2 Oakleaf Clusters. He was a very humble man and never expected anything for his service to our wonderful country.

He worked for the US Postal Service and was in business for himself as well, for many years.

At his funeral the Country of France sent a French flag from a grateful nation, for his service to their country.
