He was preceded in death by his brother, the late Louie Kalin. Andrew was owner of a grocery store in his home town of Zephyr Cove for 30 years. The name of his grocery store was S&K Market. Andrew graduated from Escalon High School in 1943. He was a member of the Knights of Columbus and YMI. He was also a founding member of Our Lady of Tahoe Catholic Church in Zephyr Cove, NV. In every sense of the word his family will remember him as a servant of the Lord. There was seating for 85 of the faithful before a rustic alter in truly devotional surroundings. Today, the site is the location of Sam's Bar and Grill. P.L.
