Mr. Minshew is survived by his father and step-mother, Jerney and Freddy Minshew of Wilson; a brother and sister-in-law, Paul and Diane Minshew of Port Orange, Fla. He was preceded in death by his mother, Sadie Deans Minshew.

Sidenote: it would appear to me based on the information in the obituary, that Mr. Minshew was cremated. Recently, I have been informed that a headstone for him is at the Langston-Edmondson Cemetery, so I am assuming his cremains are buried there.
