Eugene C. McDannold, 92 of Poplar Bluff, died March 10, 2005 at Regional Medical Center in Poplar Bluff. He was born Nov. 20, 1922 in Madisonville, MO.
He was a U.S. Army veteran of World War II.
He retired as a highway superintendent for Caltrans in California.
He and Jean E. York were married Aug. 15, 1946, at Atwood, KS.
Survivors include his wife; a daughter, Diana Stotler of Cape Girardeau, MO; two grandchildren; and three great-grandchildren.
A memorial service will be Tuesday at Cotrell Funeral Service in Poplar Bluff, with the Rev. Dan Snider officiating.
