Mr. Adams retired from Eli Lilly Co. in January 1985 after working there for 39 years. He was an antibiotics purification supervisor. He was a member of Greenbush Street Baptist Church, American Legion Post 11, and was an Army veteran of World War II. He also did volunteer work for Habitat for Humanity.
Surviving with his wife are a daughter, Karen (Mrs. Steven) Wickersham of Sycamore, IL; three sons, Stanley L. Adams of Waco, TX, Curtis D. Adams of Korea, and Jeffery D. Adams of Chinn, CA; two adopted children, Gary and Jill Moore, both of Lafayette; 13 grandchildren and 3 great-grandchildren. Service April 29, Greenbush Street Baptist Church, the Rev. James Chase officiating; internment Tippecanoe Memory Gardens.
