Judith M. Jefferson, 65 of Morton, died Friday in Seasons Hospice, Phoenixville.
Born in Pottsville, she was a daughter of the late Thomas B. and Rita Forbes Jefferson. Judith lived in Morton for the past 38 years, coming from Minersville.
She was a customer service manager for FEA Industries.
She was a member of St. Rose of Lima Roman Catholic Church and a Penn State alumna.
Judith was an avid reader and enjoyed playing pinochle and spending time with her grandchildren.
She is survived by four daughters, Angela Porch, Pedricktown, N.J., Kathleen Price, Glen Mills, Jill Walker, Raleigh, N.C., and Pamela Bechtel, San Diego, Calif.; a son, Paul Bechtel III, Clifton Heights; a brother, Thomas Jefferson, Humble, Texas; a sister, Marianne Myrick, Trevose, and three grandchildren, Adrianna Price, Jason Porch and Kiera Porch.
Funeral Mass will be held at 10 a.m. Wednesday at St. Rose of Lima Church, 1901 Chester Pike, Eddystone. Friends may call from 7 to 9 p.m. Tuesday at Kevin M. Lyons Funeral Service, 202 S. Chester Pike, Glenolden, and from 9 to 9:45 a.m. Wednesday at St. Rose of Lima Church. Interment will be private. Online condolences may be made on www.lyonsfs.com.
