Funeral Services for Archie R. Alexander, 76 were held at the Methodist Church in Alpena Wednesday with the Rev. Vernon Morrison of Flandreau in charge.
Burial was in Rest Haven cemetery with the Rev. Vernon Morrison of Flandreau in charge.
The Alexanders resided on a farm near Alpena for a number of years and in 1947 moved to Alpena. After the death of his wife a few years ago, Mr. Alexander moved to Huron where he died June 2 at the home of his daughter, Mrs. Marion Whitney. He had been ill for two years.
Besides Mrs. Whitney another daughter, Mrs. Ross Burton of Bushnell, Ill., and a son, Paul, of Huron survives. He also leaves two sisters, seven grandchildren and nine great grandchildgren.
