Brandon Mendoza passed away on May 12, 2014. His tragic death will impact the lives of his family and friends by the unimaginable void left in their broken hearts.

He was born in Mesa, AZ on February 12, 1982. Brandon was a graduate of Mesa High School. He realized his dream of becoming a Mesa Police Officer and dedicated his life to his job of public service and to being an example and inspiration for the youth of the community. He touched the lives of all who knew him and they felt his sincere concern and love for them through his personal friendships and his professional interactions.

He loved many and was loved by many. He will be greatly missed but his spirit will remain with all of us. He was an avid photographer and his talent was evident in all the pictures he took during his many travels around the world. His infectious smile, love of life and warm sense of humor endeared him to all of us fortunate enough to have known him.

Brandon's love for his family was a blessing to all of their lives. He was taken too soon from us. He leaves behind his mother, Mary Ann Mendoza; father, Raymond Mendoza (Terry); his brothers, Raymond, Jarod (Kelly); his sister, Melanie King; 5 nieces, 3 nephews, his grandparents, Doris Nicolaus, Peggy and Necho Contreras; aunts, uncles, and many cousins who loved him dearly.

This world is a better place because this amazing man.
