Mary Ginestra Abruzzo, 92, Albuquerque, N.M., former Rockford resident, died Wednesday, May 18, 1994 in her home. Born March 15, 1902, in Chicago, daughter of Lawrence and Theresa Abate Ginestra. Married Louis Abruzzo in Chicago, Dec. 27, 1919; he died in 1959. They owned and operated the Three Trees Restaurant in Rockford many years. Former member of St. Anthony Catholic Church and St. James Catholic Church. Also, member of Catholic Order of Foresters.

Survivors include two daughters, Maria (Joseph) Turiciano, Albuquerque, and Theresa (Olev) Mathiesen, Rockford; eight grandchildren, Olev, Hugo, Angelo, Joseph, Ben, Louis, Richard and Mary Pat; eight great-grandchildren; sister, Marie Ingrassia, Rockford; several nieces and nephews. Also predeceased by parents; son and daugher-in-law, Ben and Patricia Abruzzo; three brothers and one sister.

Funeral Mass of the Resurrection at 10 a.m. Tuesday, May 24, in Holy Family Catholic Church, with the Rev. Mark Campobello officiating. Visitation from 9 a.m. to services Tuesday at the church. Arrangements by Wilbur Christenson-Simms Funeral Home, 925 3rd Ave., Rockford.
