Aiken was fatally injured when a car he was working under crushed him. Apparently a jack that was supporting the car slipped, while Aiken was working on a muffler.
He was born March 9, 1960 in Cedar Falls, IA, the son of Rolly and Elinore (Kruse) Aiken.
He was a student at Iowa state University.
He is survived by his parents of Big Rock; his sister, Carol and brother, John, both of Big Rock; his grandparents, John H. Kruse of Grundy Center, IA, Rolla Aiken, also of Grundy Center, IA, and Mrs. Byrd Aiken of Marshalltown, IA.
Funeral services were at 1 p.m. Tuesday at Nash Memorial Chapel in Hinckley, with the Rev. David Upchurch officiating. Burial was in South Big Rock Cemetery.
