Katherine E. Radford, 68, of Sloansville died Sunday, December 5, 1999 at St. Clare's Hospital in Schenectady, after a long illness.
She was born January 21, 1931, in Middleburgh, the daughter of Leslie and Nancy(Bartholomew)Scutt. She had resided on Route 30A in Sloansville before moving to Sprakers Road in 1950.
She graduated from Schoharie High School in 1949.
She was a homemaker and assisted in raising her grandchildren.
She was a member of the Esperance-Sloansville United Methodist Church.
Survivors include her husband, Arnold Albert Radford, whom she married September 4, 1949; two daughters, Sandra Sells of Central Bridge and Karen Leggett of Largo, Florida; five grandchildren, Ben and Melissa Leggett, Mark and Lauren Zemcik and Jesse Sells.
She was predeceased by one daughter, Virginia Zemcik in 1983.
A funeral Service will be held at 11 am on Thursday, December 9 at the Langan Funeral Home, 21 North Main Street, Central Bridge.
Burial will follow in the Sloansville Valley Cemetery, Sloansville. Mr. Dennis Radford, nephew of Mrs. Radford, will officiate.
Calling hours will be held from 7-9 pm on Wednesday, December 8, 1999 from the Langan Funeral Home, 21 North Main Street, Central Bridge.
Memorial contributions may be made to the Central Bridge Rescue Squad, South Main Street, Central Bridge, NY 12035.
