Age 59. Passed away peacefully at home on January 9, 2006 surrounded by family. She was born July 16, 1946 to Delton and Rozella (Butler) Roschen n/k/a Rozella Lloyd and graduated from Saint Paul Johnson High School in 1964. Rozie was the original Miss Grand Avenue and was also crowned Queen of the Snows, but to all that knew her, Rozie was as beautiful on the inside as she was on the outside. In 1976, Rozie and her late husband Richard "Dick" Angell left Minnesota for Anchorage, Alaska, where they spent the next twelve years raising their two children before relocating to the Seattle, Washington area in 1988. In 1998, Rozie returned to Minnesota, where she wed Michael Parish in 1999. Together, Mike and Rozie went on to enjoy the best years of their lives. Rozie is survived by her husband Mike, mother Rozella, son Chris Angell, daughter Kari (Angell) Westerhaus, son-in-law Daniel Westerhaus, granddaughter Lauren Rose Westerhaus (who is due to be born January 22, 2006), stepson Christopher Parish, stepdaughter Heather Parish, brother Armon Roschen, sister Betty Lou Erickson, her cat Maggie (a constant companion), and many friends - all of whom will miss her dearly. Rozie was preceded in death by husband Dick, father Delton, and her dog Brandy.
