01/29/29 - 04/21/14 Bob, a native of Visalia, CA passed away at his home in Sacramento, following a lengthy illness. He was preceded in death by his parents John and Ruth; brothers Jack and Jim; sisters Kathleen Weed, Ruth Tomlinson and Marilee Burt.
Bob is survived by Barbara, his wife of 59 years; sons Robert (Bridget), Richard (Shelly) and Ronald (Christine); daughters Linda Avasso (Nick), Lisa Kou (Noel), and Laura Drake. He also leaves behind loving grandchildren, great grandchildren, nieces, nephews and friends.
A Memorial Mass will be held at St. Anthony Parish, 660 Florin Road, Sacramento, at 11 a.m. , Monday, May 5th, reception to follow.
A private military ceremony will be held May 6th at Sacramento Valley National Cemetery, Dixon.
