Jennie V. Bisheimer, 83, was called home to be with our Lord on Feb. 13, 2006, at Hope Hospice House in Cape Coral, Fla. Jennie was born in Maynard, Ohio, on April 19, 1922.

She lived most of her life in Akron and resided in North Fort Myers, Fla.

Jennie was preceded in death by her parents, Mike and Mary Severino; sisters, Florence and Connie; and brother, Jim.

She is survived by her loving husband of 58 years, Peter; sons, Rick, Bern, Jerry (Ann), John (Cindy), and Mike; sister, Mary; brother-in-law, Milt; sisters-in-law Betty, Joan, Marion

Jennie loved her grandchildren Renee(Jeremy), Aaron, Seth (Sara), Kristin, Kelly, Traci (Jason), Michael, and Brittany, and great-grandchildren, Maggie, Lydia, Johanna, & Elle.

She will be greatly missed by many nieces, nephews, and cousins. She also leaves behind a great many friends in Akron and Fort Myers. Jennie was formerly employed by the Akron Board of Education and Riverside Day Care. Jennie was a warm and loving wife and mother whose tender heart reached out to everyone she met, especially children.

Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Monday Feb. 20, 2006, 10 a.m., at St. Bernard Church, 44 University Ave. Interment at the Holy Cross Cemetery. Friends may call at Hummel Funeral Home, 500 E. Exchange St., on Sunday from 3 to 6 p.m.

Memorial donations may be made to Hope Hospice House, 2430 Diplomat Pkwy. East, Cape Coral, Fla. 33909. Arrangements by Gallaher American Family Funeral Home.

Jenny V. Severino and Peter A. Bisheimer were married April 12, 1947, in Akron. They live in North Fort Myers, FL. He is retired from the Firestone Tire & Rubber Co. She is retired from Akron Public Schools.

They celebrated their 55th wedding anniversary at a celebration at home.
