Jo-Ann E. Fisher, 78, of Mansfield, Ohio, died Thursday June 5, 2003, at home following an extended illness. Mrs. Fisher was born November 22, 1924, in Painesville, Ohio, to Russell & Grace Carpenter Morrow. She was an area resident most of her life and attended Westwood Alliance Church and Christ Gospel Church. Jo-Ann was active in many Christian ministries within her church and community. She devoted her life to her family and friends.
She is survived by her husband of 58 years, Russell B. Fisher; four daughters and sons-in-law, Nancy and Richard Eklund, Shirley Dininger, Bonnie and Steward Ashby, and Carol and Ben Stewart; a son and daughter-in-law, David and Carol Fisher; twelve grandchildren; and three great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents; brother, Robert Morrow; and a great-granddaughter, Kelsey N. Smallstey.
Friends may call at the Ontario Home of Wappner Funeral Directors, Sunday, June 8, from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. Funeral services, conducted by Pastor Doyle Peyton, will be held Monday at 1:30 p.m. at the funeral home.
