CARL MILES, 48, of Memphis, network engineer for AT&T for four years, died Sunday in Atlanta. Services will be at noon Friday at Forest Hill Funeral Home East with graveside services at West Tennessee Veterans Cemetery. He was a Marine Corps veteran and member of Anton Masonic Lodge 1272 and Levelland Masonic Lodge 1236. Mr. Miles, the husband of Lavone Miles, also leaves a daughter, Tabora Miles of Atlanta; three sons, Joushua Miles of Pascagoula, Miss., Kenneth Ray Miles and Nicholas Miles of Memphis; his mother, Deola Miles of Winnie, Texas; a brother, Justin Miles of San Augustine, Texas, and a companion with whom he lived, Deborah Cox of Memphis. The family requests that memorials be sent to Youth Villages or the SPCA.
