Son of Jacob Joseph & Sarah "Sadie" (Most) Gwirtz. Widow of Nina Margaret (Martin). Little sister Olivia (Orren) Harris. Children~ Albert F. died as a infant, George died as a infant, Peter died 1971, Charles killed in WWII 1945. Survived by children Michael, William and Dorothy (Donald) Carmen. Grandchidren Donna, Susan, Karen & Mark.
Also survived by sister in-law Winifred Martin-Weber.
Born & raised on a farm in Shelby, Ohio, they moved to Toledo, when he was 11. His father ran a saloon on Summit St. until Prohibition. Jacob & Sarah, moved back to Shelby and raised cattle. Albert & Olivia stayed in Toledo. Albert worked for New York Central Railroad all his life. He enjoyed hunting, fishing, baseball & football, and most of all his family and church. He was a member of Saint Peter and Paul Church in Toledo.
