Nona R. Reed, 76, died April 27, 2014 at Western Plains Medical Complex, Dodge City. She was born on January 28, 1938 at Memphis, Tennessee the daughter of Clyde R. and Frances (Rogers) Mosier.

Nona graduated from high school in Memphis, Tennessee. She received her bachelor degree from Blue Mountain College in Mississippi and her masters degree from Kanas State University. Mrs. Reed was a special education teacher for the Garden City School District for many years.

She married Roy Reed at Blytheville, Arkansas.

Nona is survived by her husband, Roy Reed of Cimarron; a daughter, Ann L. Reed of Signal Hill, California; a son, John Mark Reed of South Korea; two grand daughters, Alicia and Ashley Reed; one great grandson and numerous nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents and a brother, Clyde Mosier.
