Born to the late Anthony and the late Anna (nee Miesner) Marquart on November 4, 1921 in Krakow. She was united in marriage to the late Lawrence J. Ley on May 12, 1943 in Krakow. Henrietta was an avid bingo player, belonged to the St. John the Baptist Catholic Church Ladies’ Sodality, and enjoyed listening and watching EWTN programs. She loved to bake, whether it was bread for the home, birthday cake (and she always remembered all of them!), or for bake sales. Family was most important to her, and she dearly loved spending time with her grandchildren and great grandchildren. The family gatherings at the house created many, many lasting memories that she treasured.
