Susan L. Sherman was born October 10, 1958 to Mr. and Mrs. Harley and Betty Sherman in Oklahoma City.

She attended Lafayette Elementary School, Capitol Hill Junior High and Senior High School.

As a young child, Susan loved tending to her horses and spending time weekend camping trips with her entire family (including grandparents) at Lake Eufaula. She loved training, grooming, and cleaning her horse stables. Contending in rodeos, horse shows mainly winning in barrel racing with her beautiful horses until she finished the 9th grade.

Her close friends called her "Muffin", she enjoyed sitting on her family's front porch, laughing and joking with everyone that stopped by. Also you'd find her just sitting outside with her children.

Shortly after senior high, Susan met the first love of her life and lifetime friend, Gerald Abram, who became her husband from their marriage were three children and three grandsons.

Later in 1999 Susan met George Murray, from their union no children were born until God called her home. Both loved to fellowship at the Tenth Penn Ave. Nazarene Church, OKC, OK.

She leaves to cherish her memory, husband, Gerald Abram of Kansas; sons, Kyle W. Sherman, Jermane Abram & three grandsons all of OKC; her baby girl, Cherokee Abram of Kansas; mother, Mrs. Betty Sherman; oldest sister, Ms. Marsha Stone; best friend, she called "Jack Rabbit"; a host of other loving family members and friends.

She is preceded in death by her father and grandparents. Memorial services will be held 2:00 PM, Saturday, April 26, 2014, at John M. Ireland Funeral Home Chapel, Moore, OK.
