Donald W . Benditz, 78, of Yorkville, passed away May 1, 2008. Proud veteran of the United States Navy. Beloved and treasured husband of 24 years of Bonnie, nee Dillinger. Dearest father of Donald, of Edgerton, WI, Debbie Bevins of Collinsville, IL, Wendy Roesner of Aurora, and Jackie (Bruce) Douglas of St. Charles. Fond step-father of Kenneth Thomas (Bonnie) Yates and David Lee (Lisa) Yates. Dear grandfather of seven and great-grandfather of six. He was a lifelong member of the Aurora Moose and a member of the Masons. He was also an avid pinochle player, and the dear caretaker of his blind dog, Scooter.
