Jim Merrit Chastain, 80, of Hendersonville, passed away Saturday, April 19, 2014.

He was retired from the Henderson County School System.

A funeral will be held 2:00 PM Tuesday, April 22, at Fairhaven Baptist Church,of which he was a charter member (1957.) Rev. John Saunders will officiate. Burial will follow in the church cemetery. The family will receive friends from 12:30 until 2:00 PM at the church.
