OPOLIS - Chrystal Marie Doughty, 22, of Opolis, died Friday, Dec. 16, 2005, in Pittsburg.

She was born Dec. 13, 1983, at Ft. Sill, Okla., to Ron M. and Christie L. Hurlbert Doughty. She moved to Pittsburg and attended Pittsburg schools and graduated from Pittsburg High School. In the sixth grade, she received an Award for the Most Achieved.

She attended Wesley House and had helped with Project Warmth for several years. She had been elected as the Vice President for the UMW, which she was supposed to start in January.

Survivors include her mother, Christie Doughty and Dean Sizemore of Opolis; her father and step-mother, Ron and Annamarie Doughty of Pittsburg; a son, Landan Doughty of the home; a step-daughter, Natalie Loyd of Columbus; her fiancé, Donnie Loyd of Pittsburg; brother, Andrew Doughty of the home; half-brother, Brian Jacks, Jr.; a sister, Briana Doughty of Pittsburg; two step-sisters, Samantha Ballew of Pittsburg and Victoria Vasquez of Andrews, Texas; paternal grandmother and step-grandfather, Della and Roy Johns of Pittsburg; maternal grandparents, Roscoe and Edith Hurlbert of Pittsburg; paternal step-grandmother, Ruth Ann Doughty of Michigan; and several aunts and uncles.

She was preceded in death by her paternal grandfather, Ron Doughty, Sr.

Services will be 10 a.m. Wednesday at the Brenner Mortuary Chapel with Rev. Ellie Foster officiating. Burial will follow in the Crocker Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 6:30 to 8 p.m. Tuesday at the funeral home, where friends may call after 1 p.m. Tuesday.

Arrangements are under the direction of the Brenner Mortuary, 114 E. Fourth St., Pittsburg.
