ROCK HILL –Mrs. Nellie Frances Johnston, 90, died Wednesday, April 9, 2014 at Piedmont Medical Center

A graveside service will be held at Forest Hills Cemetery with Rev. Barry Burleson officiating.

Born in Lowell, NC Mrs. Johnston was the daughter of the late James Summey and Mamie Lowrance Summey, she was preceded in death by her husband Roy Johnston; sons, Kenneth Wayne Brookshire and David Lee Brookshire; and sister, Pat Owens.

She was retired from the Rock Hill Printing and Finishing Company and was formerly employed at York General Hospital. She was a member of New Hope Baptist Church and The Woodmen of the World.

Survivors include her son, James Brookshire (Paulette) of Rock Hill; daughter, Patricia Pittman (Fred) of Catawba, SC; sister, Joan Stewart (Sidney) of Rock Hill; 13 grandchildren; 23 great grandchildren; and 11 great great grandchildren.
