Age 93, daughter of the late Rev. Willibald S. and Emma Hamel Argow. She was a graduate of Academy High School and attended the Erie Branch of the University of Pittsburgh. She was employed by Erie Dry Goods Company (Boston Store), and later at Halle Brothers Company. She was a member of Westminster Presbyterian Church.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Howard J. Jones, Jr., in 1996; and three sisters, Clara McCreary, Alberta McCreary, and Marie Holden.
She is survived by two step-daughters, Carolyn Jones Cook (David), of Boone, N.C., and Ellen Jones Hoffman (Robert), of North Canton, Ohio. She is further survived by eight step-grandchildren, one step-great-grandson, and several nieces and nephews.
