Howard D Hoch, 25, of Fort Wayne, died Tuesday, July 28, 1981 in a truck accident in LaGrange, Georgia.
Howard was born May 8, 1956 in Huntington County, Indiana, the son of Floyd R and Charlene (Urschel) Hoch. Formally of Zanesville, Indiana, he was a 1974 graduate of Norwell High School. He married Jill Noel Truman on March 14, 1981 in Zanesville, IN. He was a driver for Thermtron Products and a member of the First Christian Union Church.
Howard is survived by his wife, Jill. Also surviving are his Parents, Floyd and Charlene Hoch of Fort Wayne, two sisters, Barbara A (Joe) Langel of Bluffton, IN and Beth (Dan) Ackerman's of Zanesville, IN; three brothers, David L (Deb), Douglas E, and Donald C Hoch, all of Fort Wayne; maternal grandmother, E Lorene (Aldridge) Urschel Kahlenbeck and step-grandfather, George Kahlenbeck of Huntington, IN
Preceded in death by maternal grandfather, Howard D Urschel, and paternal grandparents, Howard L and Helen S (Beaver) Hoch, all of Huntington County, Indiana.
Friends may call at the D. O. McComb & Sons Lakeside Park Funeral Home, Fort Wayne, from 2 to 5pm and 7 to 9pm today. Services will be conducted at 1pm Friday at the funeral home with burial at Calvary Cemetery in Bippus, Indiana.
Howard's daughter, Sally Ann Hoch was born on December 10, 1981. She married Matthew David Hite. He has two grandchildren.
