Mrs. Tinsley was a retired teacher from Notasulga School System. She was a member of Liberty United Methodist Church. She is survived by her husband, George D. Tinsley of Opelika; 1 sister, Mrs. Frances Todd of Montgomery, Al; 3 grandchildren, Michelle Tinsley of Selma, Al; George D. Tinsley of Selma; Michael Sealy of Selma, Al; 3 great grandchildren, Melissa Atchison, Tyler Hughes & Stephanie Sealy, all of Selma; 3 nieces Meri Todd of Snowden, Al; Ruth Anderson of Birmingham, Al; Margaret Parham of Jonesboro, GA.; and special friend and daughter-in-law Linda Barnes.
In lieu, of flowers the family suggests memorials to hospice of EAMC. Jeffcoat-Trant Funeral Home is directing.
