Of Springfield, Virginia, passed away peacefully with family by his side on March 30, 2014. He leaves behind his beloved wife of 65 years, Esther Edson; his loving children, Milton W. (Karen) Edson and Steven M. (Jackie) Edson, six cherished grandchildren and six adoring great-grandchildren. He is preceded in death by grandsons Christopher Jeremy Edson and James Shepherd Edson. A funeral service will be held at Arlington National Cemetery on a later date.
