Walter Archer of Jackson died on Sunday
at home.
He was a heavy quipment operater for the John Carr Excavating Co., Englishtown.
He was a member of DeBow's Methodist Church, Millstone Township and an Air Force Veteran of the Korean and Vietnam Wars. He was born in Long Branch and lived in Jackson all his life.
Surviving are his wife, the former Caroline Green, four sons, Walter Jr., Harrison Township, Bruce, Somerville, Willard, Haddon heights, and Michael, Manchester Township and a daughter, Dianna, at home. Four brothers, George, Pittsburgh, Roy, Upper Freehold, Russell, Bordentown and Harold, New York and three sisters, Sarah Pullen, Upper Freehold Township, Evelyn Archer, Jackson and Viola Mount of Freehold.
Hulse Memorial Home, Englishtown is in charge of arrangements, Intermit at Old Tennent Church Cemetery.
