Bethel - Ruth Blossom Havens Fahan, 84, of Bethel, died Wednesday in Danbury Hospital. She was married to the late Thomas Fahan Sr.
Mrs. Fahan was born in Norwalk, daughter of the late Reeves and Elizabeth Havens and lived in Norwalk before moving to Bethel 28 years ago.
She is survived by two sons, Thomas Fahan Jr, of Norwalk and Robert Fahan of Jupiter, Fla.; three daughters, Ruth Weymouth of Lewiston Maine, Elizabeth Garvey of Palm Beach Gardens, Fla., and Madlyn Didato of Bethel; 22 grandchildren and 20 great-grandchildren.
A procession will leave the Bethel Funeral Home, 215 Greenwood Ave., at 9:30 a.m. Saturday. A Mass of Christian burial will be celebrated at 10 a.m. Saturday in St. Mary's Church, Bethel.
Interment will be held in St. Mary's Cemetery, Norwalk.
Friends may call from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Friday in the funeral home.
