From the 7/15/1946 Van Wert, Ohio, Times-Bulletin: "Mrs. Ella Eineman, 79, widow of George Eineman, died suddenly following a heart attack about 12:30 P.M. Sunday at her home at 418 North Race Street. Mrs. Eineman, a resident of this city for many years, was a daughter of the late Henry and Elizabeth Metzcar and was born December 18, 1866, in Darke County. She was a member of the Christian Church. Surviving are three children, Mrs. Carrie Whitten of Ridge Township, Mrs. Inez Sowers of Jeromeville, O., and Curt of Ann Arbor, Mich; a brother, Charley Metzcar of Maringo, O., 13 grandchildren and four great-grandchildren. Two sons, Gale and William, preceded her in death. Funeral arrangements in charge of the Vore-Knoll Funeral home, have not been completed."
