Found in The State 10 July 1964: Neil Thurman Aaron, 68, of 1231 Hamrick St., died at 7:45 p.m. Thursday at Veterans Hospital after an illness of several months. He was born in Lama, Ga., and had spent most of his life in Richland County. Before his retirement he was laundry superintendent at State Park. He was a member of Main Street Methodist Church and a veteran of World War I and II. Survivors include his widow, Mrs. Verona Havird Aaron; one brother, A. L. Aaron of Columbia, and two sisters, Mrs. Pauline Cannon of Cayce and Mrs. Herman Dunning of Columbia. Funeral services have been tentatively set Sunday at Main Street Methodist Church.
