Clara Adele Rambo was born in 1881 to William Daniel Rambo and Stacia (Stacy) Sanders.

Clara married Eugene Ward McCulley May 3, 1905, Benton County, Iowa.

Their Children:

Eugene Donald McCulley 1907-1985

Prior to her marriage to Eugene, Clara was a school teacher. Clara was a devoted wife, mother, and homemaker. Her two passions, beside her family and church interests, were sewing and quilting.

Her quilts were works of art that were made for her family as well as for others on a custom basis.

Clara was the secretary of the Benton County Christian Churches Association for over forty years. Clara was also a very gifted pianist and vocalist with her Church.
