Professional Basketball Player. He was born in Detroit, Michigan and played his collegiate basketball at the University of Toledo in Ohio. Following his college career he played six professional seasons, three in the American Basketball Association and three in the National Basketball Association. From 1969 to 1972 he was a member of the Pittsburgh Pipers and Pittsburgh Condors of the ABA where he was a second team All-Star and was one of the leagues leading scorers, and from 1973 to 1975 he was a member of the Seattle SuperSonics of the NBA. He disappeared during a trip to Africa in 1978 where he had been invited as a guest of Ugandan President Idi Amin, and where he had hoped to begin an import-export business. He is believed to have been either murdered or executed by firing squad following the overthrow of Idi Amin’s Government by anti-Amin forces and revolutionaries. His body was never recovered and his remains are believed to be buried somewhere in the forests and jungles of Uganda. In 1985 he was declared legally dead by the state of Washington allowing Brisker's surviving relatives to claim his estate.
