Glenda Starling Ericksen, 64, passed away Friday, March 7, 2014 at her residence following a two year battle with cancer.
Mrs. Ericksen was born July 22, 1949 in Live Oak, FL and lived most of her life in the Picket Lake Community of Lafayette County. She was a retired medical office manager and member of Ephesus Advent Christian Church.
She is preceded in death by her father: A.T. Starling and one brother: Jimmy Starling.
Survivors include her husband: Eric Ericksen of Pickett Lake, FL: mother: Bernice Starling of Branford, FL: two daughters: Lisa Hewett Gramling of Panama City Beach, FL: Nancy Hewett Laminack (Kevin) of Mayo, FL: one sister: Carolyn S. Land (Colon) of Pickett Lake, FL: one brother: Ken Starling (Pat) of Pickett Lake, FL: three grandchildren: Brooks Laminack, Sam Gramling and Ellie Gramling.
Funeral services were conducted Wednesday, March 12, 2014 at 1 p.m. in Ephesus Advent Christian Church with Rev. Randy Henderson, Jr., Rev. Jack Jones and Mr. Carl Wade officiated. Interment followed in May-pop Cemetery. Visitation was held Tuesday evening from 6 - 8 p.m. in Ephesus Advent Christian Church, 9959 SE CR 405, Branford, Lafayette County, FL.
In lieu flowers the family requests that contributions be made to: Advent Christian Village, P.O. Box 4305, Dowling Park, FL 32064 or Suwannee Valley Care Center (Haven Hospice), 6037 US Hwy 90, Lake City, FL 32055.
