Terisha Don Hedrick passed away on September 21, 2013 in Colville, WA after fighting a courageous battle against multiple myeloma cancer. She was born on January 16, 1949 in Bertha, Minnesota to Alfred and Josephine Bristlin and moved with her family to Spokane, WA at the age of eight. Terisha was raised in Spokane and graduated from North Central High School in 1966. She married Jerry Hedrick on March 5, 1977 in Spokane and lived there until relocating to Colville in 1992. Terisha worked for the Colville School District until her retirement due to illness. She is remembered as a loving wife, mother, and grandmother. Terisha worked hard as a homemaker and enjoyed time spent in the kitchen cooking and baking. She had a love for kids and enjoyed spending time with her grandchildren.
Terisha was preceded in death by her mother, Josephine Bristlin. She is survived by her husband, Jerry; sons, Bryan and wife Dawn, Deer Park, WA; Aaron and wife Amanda, Colville, WA; daughters, Tara and husband Brian Darnold, Suncrest, WA; Raejean and husband Jed Ortner, Colville, WA; sisters, Cindy Brondt, Sherry Bristlin, and Annette Block, all of Spokane, WA; brothers, Doug Bristlin, Spokane, WA; Mark Bristlin, Post Falls, ID; and she is blessed with two grandsons and six granddaughters.
A funeral service for Terisha will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Thursday, September 26, at Grace Evangelical Free Church, 851 South Miner, Colville, WA. If one so wishes, memorial contributions may be made in Terisha's name to the Stevens County Historical Society, 700 North Wynne Street, Colville, WA 99114.
