Mr. Lendon Floyd Simmons Sr., age 80, died Monday, March 10, 2014 in the Grand Strand Regional Medical Center in Myrtle Beach, SC. Born September 21, 1933 in Brunswick County, he was the son of the late William Vance Simmons and Ether Hewett Simmons.
He is survived by his Wife: Faye Tripp Simmons of Ash, NC; Two Sons: Lindon Floyd Simmons Jr. and wife Nancy S. of Longwood, NC, Dewayne Simmons and wife Amy W. of Ash, NC; One Brother: James Simmons and wife Polley of Ash, NC; One Sister: Cella Mae Simmons of Shallotte, NC; and Four Grand Children: Ben Simmons, Justin Simmons, Brandon Simmons, Kristen Simmons.
Funeral Services will be held Friday, March 14, 2014 at 4 PM in the New Britton Baptist Church in Ash, NC. Burial to follow in the New Britton Baptist Church Cemetery.
