Margaret Katheryn Flores

RODESSA, LA – Graveside services celebrating the life of Margaret Katheryn Flores, age 96 will be held at 2:00 pm Monday, March 10, 2014 at Slaughter Cemetery in Rodessa, LA with Bishop Kevin Rougeau, pastor of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints in Atlanta, TX officiating, assisted by Rev. Charles Thornton.


Mrs. Flores was born in Hermitage, AR on December 6, 1917 to John and Ila Temple Hale and passed away on March 6, 2014 after a lengthy illness at North Caddo Medical Center in Vivian, LA. She was a resident of Rodessa, LA most of her life, a retired librarian in Rodessa after 9 years of service and a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints.



Mrs. Flores is survived by her husband of 77 years, Sonny Flores of Rodessa, LA; two son, Bob Flores of Carrollton, TX and Dr. Dan Flores of Missoula, MT; one daughter, Sunny Watts of The Woodlands, TX. She is also survived by 4 grandchildren and 7 great grandchildren.


Honoring Mrs. Flores as pallbearers will be Chuck Watts, Paul Lockhard, Tate Barton, Jimmy Horn, Spencer Barton, and Daniel Glascock.


The family would like to express their deepest appreciation to the Vivian Healthcare and Rehabilitation Center, North Caddo Medical Center and especially Dr. John Haynes for the love and care our mother received.
