BALDWINVILLE— Norman Clinton Crockett, 84, formerly of Worcester, died Monday, April 4, 2005.

He leaves his wife of 57 years, Evelyn M. (Voller) Crockett; a son and his wife, William C. and Vicki Crockett; a sister-in-law, Grayce V. Jones; a grandson, Shane C. Crockett; and 4 nieces.

He was born in Lowell, Mass., son of Lyman Clinton and Alice E. (Marshall) Crockett. He graduated from Pepperell High School in 1939 and resided in Worcester from 1942 until 2001. He worked for F.W. Woolworth Co. for 40 years, retiring in 1982. Mr. Crockett was a 50+ year member of Park Congregational Church of Worcester, served on its Board of Trustees and the Board of Deacons, and member and past president of its 50/50 Club; member and past president of the William Bradford Club; member and past president of the 3 F's, a retired group of Greendale Peoples Church; member of the Retired Men's Club of Greendale; and member for 50+ years and Past Master of Quinsigamond Lodge of Masons.

Funeral services will be held at 1 p.m., Friday, April 8, 2005, at Nordgren Memorial Chapel, 300 Lincoln St, Worcester. Burial will be in Hope Cemetery. Calling hours will be held from 5-7 p.m., Thursday, April 7, at Nordgren Memorial Chapel. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to Park Congregational Church, 80 Russell St., Worcester, MA 01609.

Norman was a wonderful person who will be sadly missed by all who knew him.

His brother-in-law,"Snowy" Jones, died just one month before him at the age of 102. It would be nice if you could also leave a flower for him.
