She graduated from Peabody Veterans Memorial High School where her mother was a teacher. PVMHS Class of 1986.
She received a merchandising degree from the University of Rhode Island.
Her survivors included her father, John Barbuto of Peabody; and two sisters, Dianne Walsh of North Reading and Jeannine Daly of Burlington.
Aunt of Nicholas Walsh, Kyle Daly, Mikaila Walsh, Gillian Daly and Haylee Walsh. Niece of Elena Barbuto of Deland, FL, Geraldine Kane of Westwood and Bernadine White of Clifton, VA.
A memorial Mass for her was held at Saint Adelaide's Church in West Peabody.
Celebration of Christine's life held at the Sheraton Colonial Hotel and Golf Club, 1 Audubon Rd., Wakefield.
Note: She also has a cenotaph at Christine Barbuto.
