Mrs. Amanda Fowler, 86, widow of John Fowler, died Saturday evening at 6:30 o'clock at the home of her daughter, Mrs. John Hambleton, East Drumore Township. She was a daughter of the late Henry Jones and Elizabeth Houseal Jones.
She is survived by one daughter, Mrs. Hambleton with whom she resided and these brothers and sisters: Mrs. Mary Elsner, York: Robert Jones, Red Lion. David Jones, York: and James Jones, Red Lion, also nine grandchildren and eleven great grandchildren. She was a member of Mount Zion M.E. Church.
Services will be held Tuesday at 1 o'clock, at the home of Mrs. Hambleton and at 2 o'clock at Mount Zion M. E. Church. Fairfield.
Interment is the adjoining cemetery.
