Barbara R. Bailey, 56, of Savannah, died Monday, Sept. 13, 2004 at Memorial Medical Health University. She was born in Savannah, Ga., and was a 1966 Graduate of Savannah High School, and a member of Calvary Baptist Temple, and the Sweet Spirit Sunday School Class, and she served as a Pre-School Teacher of 2 year old children, at Calvary Baptist Day Care, for the past 12 years. Bobbie loved children, and enjoyed teaching the children, she loved her Family, loved Music, and had a lovely Spirit. She also loved to Travel, she was a devoted Daughter, Sister, Grandmother, Aunt, a wonderful Friend, and a Christian that loved People. Bobbie had also worked at the Chatham Club for many years. She is survived by her mother, Annie Mae Blount Bailey of Bloomingdale, GA; three brothers and sister in law, Michael R. Bailey, Stephen R. and Glenda D. Bailey, and Lloyd Jerome "Jerry" Bailey; four sisters and brothers in law, Brenda B . and Vance McSwain, Margaret B. McKenna, Pamela B. and Stewart M. Chavira, and Terri B. and Michael Todd; three grandchildren, Lydia and Caleb McKenna and Brooke Chavira; three nieces, Kimberly M. Hawthorne, Allison McKenna, and Jacqueline Fowler; eight nephews, Van McSwain, Robbie McKenna, Christian Chavira, Anthony Todd, Justin Todd, Cody Chavira, Jonathan Bailey, and Alex Bailey; three great nephews, Joshua McSwain, Jared McSwain, and William D. Hawthorne. Visitation: 6-8 p.m. Thursday at the Hubert C. Baker Funeral Home - Hodgson Memorial Chapel. Funeral Services: 2 p.m. Friday in the Chapel of the Hubert C.
